API is a sister corporation of Carolina First Bank in South/North Carolina and Mercantile Bank in Florida.

The 401k plan offers immediate eligibility with a current match of up to 6% of compensation after one year of service. Daily 401(k) Administrator
American Pensions, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Daily 401(k) Administrator. The primary responsibilities of the position include the following:

  • Act as dedicated contact for book of 20-30 Daily Valuation Plans
  • Respond to employer inquiries regarding retirement plan administration, plan document and compliance issues
  • Track and review eligibility and vesting
  • Manage daily processing of plan distributions and payroll information
  • Perform compliance testing
    Review and reconcile contribution and census data
  • Perform periodic investment allocations
  • Prepare contribution calculations
  • Prepare quarterly participant statements and client reports
  • Consult with clients regarding plan design and operation

The ideal candidate will hold a 4-year degree in Accounting, Business or Finance. A candidate with substantial relevant experience is also encouraged to apply. In addition, a successful candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and be well versed on Microsoft office products. Accordingly, the abilities to work independently and communicate effectively are a must. A strong knowledge of ERISA and retirement plan operations is required. Experience with Relius Administration is a plus.
